To John Scalzi's cliche issue of Subterranean magazine. The piece is called "Scene from a Dystopia." I think some of you have read it. It's a meta-fictional analysis of cold war era dystopias.
I don't know you either, of course, but I have a friend (fellow Clarionite)who is one of Liz's roommates, so I've heard about your book a bit when I met Liz at KGB.
I'm not going to act surprised because I knew it was just a matter of time before you sold this one! Congratulations on finding it a home and in such a terrific market... Especially since this means you can't revise it anymore. :P
...I went through the story Friday night and made line level changes so I could send it to Asimov's when Scalzi rejected it. I'm not totally sure what to do about that. ;)
Congrats, that is so great! I will have to read it when I get home. We may be a bit late to your party on sunday, but we will get there as soon as we can. Did I mention that I can't wait to see you:)

congratulations!
(Doing a happy dance for you)
Do you want to come to a party at my house on Sunday Dec. 11, 3pm or so? It's celebrating Christmas, not the sale. ;)
Neat!
Hey, SNL is on ...

Enjoy SNL. :)
I really wish I'd been there when you found out. I'm soooo sorry that I bailed on our date...
I'll try to make it up to you.
Kisses!
You are completely awesome and I'm proud of you!

Sorry that the party didn't get arranged on the best day for you. We'd already made plans by the time I got your LJ comment. :(
I'm totally happy.
